In 2015, while working towards her Associate’s degree, one of Kelly's musician colleagues from college suggested she try cantoring at his church. She quickly discovered how much she enjoyed using her voice to praise God. About a month later, without having spoken to her family about what she had been doing, Kelly received a phone call from her mom informing her that she was converting to the Catholic Church. Kelly ended up joining the church on Easter in 2017 and has served the Church in various positions since, including with music and assisting administratively in churches where they were living in Florida.
Originally from Pickerington, Ohio, Kelly recently moved back to her Ohio roots with her husband and son. Kelly's hobbies include singing (she is a classically trained mezzo soprano), bodybuilding, watching Netflix with her family and crocheting. She enjoys all things kawaii culture and loves learning new pieces and adding music to her church repertoire.
