Jordan Brown I grew up in an evangelical household (Church of the Nazarene), but eventually became disillusioned with Christianity and became agnostic for over a decade. In 2025 I felt a calling to come back to Christ so I started reading my Bible again. Eventually, through the work of apologists like Trent Horn, Joe Heschmeyer and especially the Pints with Aquinas podcast I came to realize the truth of the Catholic Church. I enjoy reading fantasy novels, watching almost all sports, and spending time with my wife and son, KayLynn and Ren. |
KayLynn Brown My husband Jordan and I have been married for 6 years. We started looking to find our faith together and it brought us to the Catholic Church. We started attending St. Francis in October 2025. After my first adoration and feeling like my soul finally breathed for the first time, I knew I wanted to become Catholic. The traditions, history and presence of Jesus make me eager for knowledge. I'm a mother to my almost 4y old son Ren. I enjoy nature, hiking, cooking and plants. |

Chad Ewing My interest in Catholicism grew through family connections and a desire for a deeper spiritual foundation for myself and family. Since beginning the OCIA, I have felt truly welcomed and supported by OLL, and am grateful for such a faith-filled family. I grew up in Newport News, VA after many moves with family due to my father's military service. I settled in Wilmington, Ohio where I met my wife. Five years ago we moved to Centerville where we now lie with our two wonderful sone. I enjoy playing vintage video games, building Legos with the kids, and spending time outdoors. |
Randi Michael I was always inspired by my grandmother's deep faith and devotion. for years I have felt a steady pull to return to the Church, and after the birth of my son, I knew it was time to come home. I was baptized Catholic but grew up in church outside of the faith. Many of my extended family remained Catholic. May husband and I have lived in Centerville for six years. We're both from Wilmington. We have two wonderful boys who keep our lives full and joyful. I enjoy clogging, hiking, writing, and reading. We've truly enjoyed getting to know everyone in the OLL family and are so grateful to be part of this OCIA journey! |
