Festival of Saints

As part of the Solemnity of All Saints Day, Our Lady of Light Family is hosting the Festival of Saints at the Incarnation PAC parking lot and Parish Center on Saturday, November 1 from 3:00 -5:00pm. All are invited to experience meeting the saints as you walk from station to station. Saint stations are an interactive experience where each saint also hands out treats and giveaways to help remind participants of the saint. ​Enjoy free snacks, hot chocolate, crafts and treats inside the PAC! We invite you to come dressed up as your favorite saint.

Volunteers Needed

Are you interested in helping to bring the saints alive for our parishioners? We'd love your help! There are two different volunteer areas that we need covered:

SAINT STATION VOLUNTEER
High School students, families, or adults, we need your help to volunteer to “host” a saint station.  Choose from a list of saints or choose your own. Dress up as a saint, with optional supporting characters and/or your trunk to honor a saint. Click here to volunteer.

EVENT VOLUNTEERS
Volunteer to help with setup, cleanup, craft, hospitality, or parking.  Choose the times that work best for you. Click here to volunteer.

Additional Event Details

PARKING:
The PAC parking lot will be roped off to designate the saint walk area to protect the participants from cars driving around the parking lot.   Cars will still be able to drive through the parking lot connecting the PAC parking lot with the church parking lot.  Handicap parking will be available in the first row of parking closest to the PAC.  Crossing guards will be stationed in the PAC parking lot so that participants will be safe.

SAINT WALK
15+ different Saint stations will be set up in a roped off section of the PAC parking lot.  Car trunks or tables can serve as a station with a Saint and optional accompanying characters to support the experience. Most Saints will dress in costume and decorate their trunk to share about their saint.  Some saints will have games/songs/activities that involve the participants. Each Saint will hand out a treat and a giveaway that will remind the participant about the saint.

CRAFTS
Simple rosaries will be available to string together where each bead will represent a saint on the walk.  Craft volunteers will assist children and their parents with putting together the rosaries.  Coloring pages, friendship bead pins, and other crafts will also be available.
