Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation for Our Lady of Light emphasizes these two elements: “a more intimate union with Christ and a more lively familiarity with the Holy Spirit,” as well as “awakening a sense of belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ” through the choice of our annual confirmation retreat or camp experience, in addition to Fireside Chats that conclude with XLT Praise and Worship before the Blessed Sacrament.

Confirmation preparation at Our Lady of Light begins in 6th grade and culminates with celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation in the fall of 8th grade.

Confirmation Dates
​We will not have our official Mass dates until approximately 7 months prior to the Celebration of Confirmation. This is set in conjunction with the Archbishop’s office. As soon as we have the dates, we will share that with families. Two Masses will be celebrated. Families will sign-up for their preference. We will do our best to accommodate.
