Anointing of the Sick

The anointing of the sick is administered to bring spiritual and even physical strength during an illness, especially near the time of death. Please notify our parish offices if anyone is suffering in your family, especially if they are hospitalized or seriously ill. In an emergency situation, please call 937-709-3033.

If you are in need of support during this time, we invite you to learn more about the various support ministries at Our Lady of Light.
support ministries
Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the presbyters of the church, and they should pray over him and anoint (him) with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven. // James 5:14-15
