Ladies, if you've thought about deepening your relationship with God, but aren't quite sure how, carve out some time to learn.

Come away and experience the peace of retreat. Immerse yourself in contemplative prayer and discover how God speaks in the quiet. Our special guest speaker will explore the monastic roots of various forms of contemplative prayer and guide you in practicing them. Open your heart to God’s love by spending intentional time in His presence.

2026 Guest Speaker: Sister Susannah Kelly

Our special guest speaker, Sister Susannah Kelly, is the Director of Adult Ministry at the Jesuit Spiritual Center. She received her theological training from the Gregorian University and the John Paul II Institute in Rome. She served in France and Italy for 23 years. Her assignments included Campus Minister at McGill University and Director of Abuse Response in the Diocese of Strasbourg, France. Sr. Susannah is experienced at teaching and leading retreats on contemplative prayer and has also served as a spiritual director for 20 years. We are excited to have her join us for our 2026 Women’s Retreat!

FAQs

Will food be provided?

Yes! You will have access to food and beverages all weekend long.
Friday, February 20 is the first Friday of Lent, so appetizers that evening will be light and meatless.
On Saturday, February 21, we will offer a light breakfast, a large lunch catered by Christopher’s, snacks throughout the day, and a light dinner following the 4:30 PM Mass.
Beverages will include coffee, tea, lemonade, and water. Please bring a refillable water bottle with you.

When are confessions and Adoration?

The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered Friday evening at 7:00 pm.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be held Saturday from approximately 1:15–3:00 pm.
We will attend the 4:30 pm Saturday Vigil Mass with the parish community at St. Francis of Assisi.

do you offer financial assistance?

Yes, we do. Several women have generously donated additional funds so that any woman who desires to attend may do so.

what if I can only attend part of the weekend?

You are welcome and encouraged to attend, even if you can only participate for part of the weekend.
One of the blessings of hosting the retreat on one of our campuses is the flexibility it allows. You are free to come and go as your schedule requires.
In addition to the Sacraments and Adoration, we will offer multiple opportunities and settings for prayer. Sr. Susannah will speak three times during the weekend. Our hope is to provide practical tools to help you deepen your relationship with God.
