CHRISTEN AQUINO
Managing Director of Evangelization

Runs the Life Teen high school program, Confirmation sacramental preparation, oversees all youth discipleship formation K-12 and Rescue Project
While on a mission trip the summer before starting college, Christen heard God distinctly say "youth ministry." She immediately got involved in Catholic Campus Ministry at Elon University and served her home parish in Georgia as a summer youth ministry intern. Fast forward to following her graduate studies at the University of Dayton, Christen worked for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati as the Managing Director of Parish Evangelization before being approached to serve Our Lady of Light as the Director of Youth and Mission.

Christen's free time is easily filled with many hikes and trips to the dog park with her pups Phoenix and Willabear. She also enjoys reading and writing, watching movies and cooking.
