Festival of Saints

November 1 from 5-7pm

As part of the Solemnity of All Saints Day, Our Lady of Light Family is hosting the Festival of Saints at the Incarnation PAC parking lot and Parish Center on Friday, November 1 from 5-7pm. All are invited to experience meeting the saints as you walk from station to station. Enjoy a free hotdog dinner, hot chocolate, crafts and treats! We invite you to come dressed up as your favorite saint. At the end of the evening, we will have a “saint” procession into the 7:00pm Mass.

5-6:30pm | Saint walk starting in front of Incarnation School going towards the PAC
5-7pm | Food, hot chocolate, crafts inside the PAC
7:00pm | All Saints Day Mass in the Church*

Volunteers + Donations Needed

Are you interested in helping to bring the saints alive for our parishioners? We'd love your help! There are two different volunteer areas that we need covered, as well as donations needed if you are unable to attend the event.

SAINT STATION VOLUNTEER
High School students, families, or adults, we need your help to volunteer to “host” a saint station.  Choose from a list of saints or choose your own. Dress up as a saint, with optional supporting characters and/or your trunk to honor a saint. Click here to volunteer.

EVENT VOLUNTEERS
Volunteer to help with setup, cleanup, craft, hospitality, or parking.  Choose the times that work best for you. Click here to volunteer.

DONATIONS
The festival will use lots of candy and treats to be given away at the Saint Stations.  Donate your left-over Halloween candy and specific treats that match with saints. Click here to donate.

Additional Event Details

PARKING
The driveway between the PAC and Incarnation parking lot will be closed down to car traffic for the safety of the Saint Walk participants.  Participants can park in either the PAC parking lot or the main Church parking lot.  There will be two entrances for starting the saint walk, one in front of school and one in the PAC parking lot at the steps.

SAINT PROCESSION INTO MASS
Meet at 6:50pm in the vestibule of Incarnation Church which is the gathering area at the back of church near the main doors at the covered entrance.  All dressed as saints and anyone wishing to participate in the procession may join.  The procession will begin the song prior to the entrance hymn. At 6:55pm. The first 24 processors will be given a flower to carry, and they will place it in a vase at the front of the church.  After the procession, participants will join their families in the pews.  First 24 people in line will be given a flower. ​
