What is Alpha ?Alpha provides a place to connect with individuals through a free dinner and conversation, while exploring life’s biggest questions through a series of videos and group discussion. It’s an open space for anyone to bring their questions about life, faith, or religion. Alpha is a low pressure environment. You’re free to talk as much or as little as you want. And while Alpha is designed for those taking first steps in faith, everyone can benefit from having a chance again to look at the beauty of the gospel.
What is a typical Alpha night like?From the moment you arrive on campus, you should expect a warm welcoming, easy check-in for name tag, and grabbing a tasty meal to sit down at your table and get to spend time meeting your group. The groups do stay the same from week to week, so that you can grow in relationship with one another and comfortable in sharing. After dinner, we’ll have a short introduction, brief video, and spend the remainder of time in conversation.

FAQ'S
Who can attend?Anyone (out of high school) is able to attend. You do not have to be Catholic, Christian, etc. It is literally open to anyone, regardless of beliefs.

What’s the cost of Alpha?Absolutely no cost to join us for Alpha. All dinners are included, as well as other materials given to guests.

What if I want to come with a friend?When you RSVP to join us, let us know if you’re attending with a friend and we’ll happily get you all in a group together. Our small groups are typically made up by season of life (i.e. age demographic).

RSVP Required?An RSVP is not required; walk-ins are welcome. RSVP is helpful for the kitchen crew and ministry team so we can best prepare to receive you. If you are in need of childcare an RSVP is required for this.

How long is Alpha?Each session of Alpha is approximately 75 minutes long. A full season of Alpha runs for 12 weeks and includes a “day-away” experience. More details will be shared with guests once Alpha gets underway.
Is childcare provided?We do have childcare available for those who need it, but space is limited. Those looking for childcare are required to RSVP to ensure the nursery team is staffed to handle the needs. *Please send a meal with your child(ren) as dinner will not be provided beyond night 1*
