Advent and Christmas 2024

In 2025, the Catholic Church is embracing the Jubilee Year with the theme of Pilgrims of Hope, as announced by Pope Francis. The 2025 theme The theme signifies a year of hope for a world suffering the impacts of war, the ongoing effects of COVID-19 pandemic, and the climate crisis.

As Advent leads into the new year, Our Lady of Light Family of Parishes has adopted the theme "Dawn of Hope" for the 2024 Advent season. Hope is based on our relationship with Christ, nourished, supported and deepened in the Eucharist. We invite you to join us throughout this Advent season, both during the Mass and at our special events. Find rest in Jesus and in our community this season, and prepare your hearts to place your hope in Him.

Joyful Mysteries Before Mass
Each Weekend Before Masses | Both Campuses

Fifteen minutes prior to Mass during the Advent season, we invite you to join us in praying a decade of the Joyful Mysteries, followed by Salve Regina in Latin.

Join women of our family to find rest in God from 6-9pm. With a variety of options for prayer to choose and fellowship to choose from, there's something for women in all seasons. 

Immaculate Conception Masses
Monday, December 9 | Both Campuses

Join us in celebrating the Immaculate Conception of Jesus and Mary's fearless "Yes" on this Holy Day of Obligation. Click here for all Mass times.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Candlelight Mass
Thursday, December 12 | St. Francis of Assisi Campus

Honor Our Lady of Guadalupe with a beautiful candlelight Mass beginning at 7:00pm. Mass will be preceded by a decade of the rosary and the Salve Regina.

Advent Penance Service
Monday, December 16 | Incarnation Campus

Join our family of parishes and the surrounding community in an opportunity to be cleansed of your sins this Advent Season. Penance service begins at 7:00pm.

Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God
Tuesday, Dec 31-Wednesday Jan 1 | Both Campuses

Epiphany Lessons and Carols

Holiday Closures and Cancellations

Parish Offices will be closed December 24-January 1. They will reopen January 2, 2025.
There will be no 6:30am Masses between December 25-January 1.
There will be no confessions on December 24/25 or December 31/January 1.
